KoBold Metals Mingomba Supplier Fair 2025

We are proud to participate in the KoBold Metals Mingomba Supplier and Services Fair held on 28 October 2025 in Chililabombwe, Copperbelt Province.

The event attracted more than 400 exhibitors and participants from across Zambia’s mining and support services sectors, creating a strong platform for engagement between mining companies, contractors, suppliers, and service providers. The fair reflected the growing momentum around local supplier development and the role Zambian businesses continue to play in supporting the future of the country’s mining industry.

For Maisha Zambia, the event presented an opportunity to showcase our operational capabilities and engage directly with stakeholders involved in one of Zambia’s most exciting mining developments. Our team interacted with industry players to better understand operational expectations within modern mining environments and how integrated support services continue to contribute to productivity, efficiency, and workforce wellbeing.

As a company focused on delivering Integrated Services. Sustainable Solutions., we remain committed to supporting mining operations through dependable and professionally managed service delivery across facilities and camp management, catering, cleaning and hygiene, laundry, waste management, landscaping, and other operational support functions.

The Mingomba Supplier Fair also highlighted the importance of collaboration between mining companies and local businesses in driving sustainable economic growth. Events such as these create meaningful opportunities for knowledge sharing, supplier inclusion, and long-term partnership development within the mining value chain.

We commend KoBold Metals for organizing a successful and impactful event that continues to strengthen local participation and business engagement within Zambia’s mining sector.

Maisha Zambia Trading remains focused on delivering service excellence and operational support solutions that add value to mining and industrial operations across the region.

Maisha Zambia Trading participated in Investing in African Mining Indaba 13 February 2026, where our General Manager Mrs Kesiya Chitete and Head of Operations Mr Munye Shava engaged with mining houses, industry leaders, and strategic partners from across the continent.

This year’s engagement was centred on listening and understanding the realities shaping mining operations today. From workforce wellbeing and operational pressures to the increasing demand for integrated camp and facilities management solutions, the conversations reinforced the importance of practical, resilient, and sustainable operational support.

At Maisha Zambia, we believe strong partnerships begin with understanding. The discussions extended beyond service delivery and focused on what truly sustains productivity in remote and high-pressure environments: disciplined operations, integrated service models, strong on-site governance, and solutions tailored to operational realities.

Guided by our promise, Integrated Services. Sustainable Solutions, we contributed to conversations around operational efficiency, service consistency, workforce wellbeing, and long-term camp performance across diverse mining environments.

Our approach remains practical, data-led, and tailored to each client’s operational requirements because no two mining operations are the same.

Mining Indaba 2026 also created an important platform for collaboration and relationship building across Africa’s mining sector. The engagements reaffirmed our commitment to delivering fit-for-purpose solutions designed to support operational continuity, workforce productivity, and sustainable growth.

As the Indaba concluded, our focus shifted from dialogue to execution. We remain committed to building lasting partnerships and delivering measurable impact across Africa’s mining and industrial sectors.

Our commitment to community goes beyond the services we deliver. It lives in the moments where people come together to uplift others and create lasting impact.

In celebration of International Women’s Day, the women of Maisha spent a meaningful day at Renewed Hope Children’s Village, guided by the powerful theme for this year: “Give To Gain.”

The visit was more than a donation. It was a moment of connection, kindness, and shared humanity.

Our team arrived with food donations prepared to support the children and the caregivers who dedicate their lives to nurturing them. What began as a simple act of giving quickly turned into a day filled with laughter, conversation, and genuine warmth.

The ladies spent time with the children, sharing meals, listening to their stories, and participating in activities that brought joy to everyone present. The smiles on the children’s faces were a reminder that sometimes the greatest gift is not what we bring, but the time and presence we offer.

The theme “Give To Gain” came to life in a powerful way. While the intention was to give support and encouragement, the team left with something equally valuable, renewed appreciation, inspiration, and a deeper sense of purpose.

We believe strong communities are built through compassion, shared responsibility, and meaningful engagement. Our visit to Renewed Hope Children’s Village reflects our ongoing commitment to making a positive difference in the communities where we live and work, because when we give with sincerity, we gain something far greater, connection, gratitude, and the opportunity to create lasting impact.
